Welcome
This site was provided for the Junior High Art classes, taught by Mr. Wing, in the absence of Ms. Lind, while she was recovering from the issues she had with her back.
To save space on the menu (to the left) and add the Blog page, for updates, like this latest announcement (re: "Farewell"), I moved the the pages with 6th, 7/8th & 6/7/8th to the Lessons tab . The 6, 7 & 8th page is for assignments that all three classes produced during CST testing in the Spring 2014 season.
As I spent more time in the classroom with your children, I eventually began to think
of them as an extension of my family, almost as if they were my own kids; more like the uncle, though, who gets to send them home at night to their parents.
The pride I have had in them, for "a job well done," made me want to put all
their artwork up on my refrigerator.
The challenge, of course, is, I don't have that large of a fridge... so, as time allowed, I decided to create Gallery pages for all the assignments they completed, as a showcase of their work. Check the sub-menus under the projects, for Gallery Pages, like the Zentangle Gallery and the Construction Paper Portraits, and the final project the 7th & 8th graders worked on, the SCPA tee shirt designs from April and May, 2014.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me by clicking on the
Contact tab. Fill out the form and an email will be sent to my jwing2@sandi.net address.
